Welcome to the ORIGINAL tribe.net - ALTAR TRIBE:
A bank of Altar pix from all over the earth as well as tribe members.

The "ALTAR". The center at which we bring all our energy and concentration. Many cultures beleive Altars and Shrines seem to hold an energy, regardless of their use, that is outside the realm of the everyday, mundane decorations found in any common dwelling or structure. Humans have been making them for as long as recorded history.

The Alter has always been a place to make offerings... maybe to creatures, spirits, the elements, Gods, images, places, things, and even concepts.

Come, share pictures of your own personal altar, be it Pagan, Christian, Taoist, Buddhist, Greek, Native American, Gypsy, Zen, Mayan, Catholic, Hindu, Misc., etc. etc. etc. ALL ARE WELCOME HERE! NO SUBJECT IS TABOO!
